To supervise over this activity an innovative approach has been worked out in our state. Since people's participation and execution is important, both physical and financial powers have been delegated to the Watershed Committees. Supervisory teams called MDTs with six members are formed. The members come from different fields like Agriculture, Engineering and Forests. These teams monitor 50 to 75 micro watersheds.
