PATANCHERU CETP
 

The Patancheru CETP is designed to handle 7.5 mld of effluents with the following characteristics:

 


pH 5.5 to 9.0
Suspended Solids 500 to 900 mg/lit
Total Dissolved Solids 2800 to 3000 mg/lit
BOD 920 to 1480 mg/lit
Oil and Grease 20 to 100 mg/lit

The characteristics after treatment as per original design of the plant are:

BOD not more than 20 mg/lit
Suspended Solids not more than 30 mg/lit.

 
The present characteristics of combined effluents from the industries in Patancheru are approximately :

pH 5.5 to 9.0
Suspended Solids 10,000 mg/lit
Total Dissolved Solids 25,000 mg/lit
BOD 5000 mg/lit
Oil and Grease More than 100 mg/lit
