The Jeedimetla CETP receives effluents from IDA Jeedimetla, Balanagar, Fatehnagar and other industrial units which produce approximately 15 mld of effluents. The existing capacity of JETL is 1mld which is inadequate and needs to be increased to atleast 10 mld. It has now embarked upon combined effluent treatment by mixing sewage and industrial waste water.
